Marketing Curve

Marketing Curve is an abbreviation for A Learning Curve in Marketing. Every year MARKS CONSULTANCY is involved in several research based project which not only encourage the evolution of brilliant ideas but also promotes research as a strong career option in India. Our objective behind Marketing Curve is to drill into India Inc the old school of thought that Marketing is not Sales. Somewhere we have forgotten this due to which we loose many a talent to disinterest in sales

This year we are encouraging B-School students in their first year of MBA program to take on this research based project as or along with their summer project. For the project a candidate must select any one of the domains mentioned in the application form and must do research on the same to analyze the domains Past Growth, Present Growth & Potential future growth. We encourage students to give inputs on where they think the domain is loosing out in terms of its Marketing Strategy and what new ideas they could incorporate.

We encourage new Marketing Mix, Business Models or even the stupidest of ideas. Who knows which wise man can actually make sense of the stupid idea? If Gram Bell could make a telephone out of a stupid idea then, why not we?

Eligibility

1. The applicant must be a student of any B-School in India & must be in his or her 1st Year of MBA Program.

2. A complete application form along with a DD of Rs. 500/- in favor of “ MARKS INTERNATIONAL PVT. LTD.” must be sent to the below mentioned address with the permission from the B-Schools

3. The Duration of the project is 8-12 weeks. As per the norms of the B-School.

Other Information

1. Candidate will be provided with a research certificate.

2. No stipend will be given to the candidate.

3. All material, guide etc will be given to the student before the start of the project in terms of their welcome kit.

Why Rs.500/- ?

1. MARKS CONSULTANCY is going to build a web-site which will have all projects uploaded along with the resume of the candidates. This web-site will be promoted to more than 50,000 corporate. Usernames and passwords will be provided to them for free. This way they can read your projects and give you a pre placement offer incase they like your project.

2. MARKS CONSULTANCY is going to incur a Rs. 2500/- cost on every students which enrolls for this project. MARKS CONSULTANCY is expecting the candidate to bear 1/5 of the cost i.e. Rs. 500/- while the remaining 4/5 of the cost i.e. Rs. 2000/- will be borne by MARKS CONSULTANCY.

3. The entire web-site cost is going to be borne by MARKS CONSULTANCY.

4. The application fee makes sure only those who are serious about the careers will apply.

5. In terms of branding cost, even if 500 companies out of the 50,000 companies that we will be promoting the web-site to look into the project of a particular students then too the exposure of the candidate is 10 times to that of the companies who are walking into the campus every year.
